You don't need to wash your fleece hoodie after every use.

Wash gently

Use a gentle cycle with cold water and a mild detergent designed for delicate fabrics. You can also wash fleece with similar items, like other soft hoodies, sweatshirts, or blankets.

Avoid harsh chemicals

Don't use bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh detergents that can weaken the fleece fibers.

Rinse thoroughly

Run an extra rinse cycle to remove all detergent residue, which can damage the fabric over time. You can also add a fabric softener or half a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle to help keep the fleece soft and fluffy.

Dry thoroughly

After washing, gently squeeze or pat the fleece dry, then lay it flat or hang it to air dry. Avoid wringing or twisting the fleece, and don't put it in the dryer, which can cause pilling and shrinkage.
